The Atelier

We Make
Straps That
Earn Their Age.

Born from Tommy’s Time Shop

TTS Atelier grew out of Tommy’s Time Shop — a place built on the belief that a watch is only as good as what holds it to your wrist. After years of sourcing straps that never quite matched the quality of the timepieces they adorned, we decided to make our own.

What started as a small workshop experiment became something customers kept asking about. The straps outlasted everything else. The leather aged beautifully. People noticed. So we spun it off, named it the Atelier, and got serious.

The Material

We source full-grain and shell cordovan exclusively. Every hide is inspected before cutting. Anything that doesn’t meet standard becomes scraps. We produce a lot of scraps.

The Process

Hand-cut with a steel straight edge. Skived to precise taper. Edges beveled and painted in multiple coats. Stitched at 6 passes per centimeter with waxed linen. Burnished until smooth. Then inspected again.

The Standard

If it isn’t something we’d put on our own watches, it doesn’t ship. That sounds obvious. It isn’t obvious until you hold one of our rejects next to most commercial straps.
